Biography
MELCHIZEDEK (he / him)
king lost to time
old stuff:
king lost to time
old stuff:
"And look like heralds of eternity; They pass like spirits of the past—they speak Like sibyls of the future; they have power— The tyranny of pleasure and of pain; They make us what we were not—what they will, And shake us with the vision that's gone by, The dread of vanished shadows—Are they so? Is not the past all shadow?" ... "It was of a strange order, that the doom Of these two creatures should be thus traced out Almost like a reality—the one To end in madness—both in misery." (Lord Byron - The Dream) |

The unnamed Wildclaw that emerged from the breached cave was definitely not normal. Dragons came to call him Sandflight, after his sandy color and his previous resting place.
He doesn't talk much, and when he does his voice is bone-shakenly deep. He is neither living nor dead, his name and purpose long forgotten, lost to the sands he was buried in. Parts of his body have petrified into glittering stone, leading some to believe he was entombed for an exceedingly long time. Evidence suggest he was bound before escaping, and further examination of his tomb reveals the residual traces of a once powerful containment spell, now broken. The Wildclaw's intentions have yet to be revealed. |

Notes
Is quite gentle with hatchlings, despite his unfriendly demeanor.
Doesn't acknowledge his name as Sandflight. That's simply the name his clanmates gave him when he wouldn't tell his own real name.
The wards and chains found in the tomb he emerged from have not been distinguished as of yet. The spells are exceedingly old, and hardly recognizable to even the most gifted mages. It's possible that the magic isn't even of draconic origin.
Though very few adult dragons know his element, he uses his powers over nature for food and water when a hatchling needs it - hence why the young ones often know his 'secret' and the older ones do not.
The unnatural movements he makes and his emotional flatness disappear when he's interacting with dragonlings. Instead, he appears soft spoken and kind. Perhaps that display of behaviour is the way he used to be?
Note: I now own . It is in my vault.
Sandflight changes from his normal appearance to his true appearance during festivals, and also reverts back to his true name. This change fades after the festival ends.
