Eikre, known to most as The Peacebringer, is a minor god of Unity. He believes in making and holding unity, of peace between clans and tribes, empires and kingdoms. He is one of the more active of them, helping clans behind the scenes establish unity in minor ways, such as treaties between a dragon clan and beastclan or an alliance between two originally warring clans, or in even smaller ways, like fixing a broken relationship. He believes that contributing to smaller causes helps the bigger picture in the end. This doesn't mean he doesn't help anything major; he just prefers not to unless it's vital. He tends to show himself via dreams, usually the dreams of His followers, provided that if he's contacting them about something involving their clan, that they have a follower of Him in their midst. Otherwise, he contacts who he considers the most trustworthy and fitting to receive the message. Even then, he tends not to show visibly in the dream, preferring to introduce himself as the voice in the dream and show off imagery relating to the situation instead of showing his physical form. As such, not many have actually seen Him "in the flesh", and he prefers to keep it that way for the most part. There are always exceptions, however. His children, most devout priests/Saints, and blessed are typically the ones who get this very honor. Even then, his appearance is fluid, and he doesn't appear the same way to each of the dragons he shows himself to. Without hiding anything, he has features in both his draconic and bipedal forms to stand for each breed, such as the Pearlcatcher's horn, the Skydancer's head gem and antennae, the Spiral's tail, the Imperial's antlers, and the Coatl's tail wings. He cannot easily hide features in his draconic form, so the typical form he's seen in when visiting someone is his bipedal form, while his traveling tends to be done in draconic form. He caters to who he shows himself to, to keep the individual from having any sort of biased or hateful reaction if they have a dislike for a certain breed. A couple of his most common features to hide are his Imperial antlers, due to the dislike and fear of Emperors, and his Bogsneak cheek frills, since many dragons don't like the breed due to their origin and lack of a deity connection. It's also common for him to hide either his horns or antlers when talking to either a Pearlcatcher or Imperial, since quite a few hate the other breed. Either way, his Skydancer antennae and head gem are always visible (his Spiral tail usually is as well, though he can hide it), due to the abilities they bring, and his colouration never changes when he's going as himself. His Jaguar markings, Opal scarring, and Peregrine stripes are always visible, though more subtly in his bipedal form. On rare occasions, he will take a "mortal" form to check out how things are going from a normal dragon's or just a more "normal" perspective instead of watching from afar or through another dragon. He never reveals himself, usually vanishing without a trace once his job is done. He never looks the same each time, though he always chooses a Pearlcatcher form for reasons unknown. He also always has Opal scarring on his hide, displaying a different colour each time as well. Once, he took a position as a powerful priest for years in a flourishing clan, to help them along in a relationship with a nearby clan, providing power and helping them along. He often took leaves to deal with his deity duties, but always returned to them when he was working with the clan. They were the one clan that he revealed himself to; something he did when he knew things were successful and he was no longer needed. The leader of that clan is one of the individuals he often interacts with in dreams. He originally manifested, in a weakened, not quite physical form, not long after the massive explosion that had wiped out all existing life that had lived on the world previous to his existence, alongside who he would learn to know as the Plaguebringer and the Gladekeeper. Unbeknownst to him even now, it was their warring that had lead to his spawning in the first place. He didn't have the strength to create a stronger form to tie himself to the physical plane for a long time, not able to, likely thanks to the warring of the two sisters and his purpose that would eventually be revealed. He got tired of their warring early on, their actions resulting in him feeling hurt and pain within, even though they weren't able to actually touch him. Their actions, their intent got to him; he really didn't like what they were doing, what they were causing to the land around them with their fighting. Even though he was but one small spiritual being, one who was likely just an ant to them, he tried. Tried to cease the fighting, desperate attempts to get them to stop, from trying to physically interfere to worded protests, such as whispering in an ear. Nothing changed. Sometimes, he wasn't sure if they knew he was there, or if they just purposely ignored his protests. He got a physical form years upon years later, when the Arcanist caused the shattering of the Pillar by drawing in the mass of blackness that Eikre would learn later was known as the Shade. The resulting blast from the collision of Shade on Pillar tore Eikre's presence out of the spiritual realm and into the physical realm, giving him a solid form for the first time. He was small at that point in time, not knowing how to change his form quite yet, and not only that, but the blast had also badly injured him, tearing large wounds into him that would be known later as Opal scarring. He had to retreat, finding a place to hide and recover. It took months for the massive damage to heal completely, and it left blue and grey patches across his body. He recovered in Dragonhome, in a place quite secluded. He didn't come out for most of his recovery, due to how painful it was to move, and he didn't want anyone to take advantage of his state.
