Patience was a virtue. And he had plenty. The trick was to know when you had to be quick and agile, and when you needed to wait. Now. Darting from his cover, Mautar caught one, two, three butterflies in one go, still flying and hiding again in the trees. Making sure the bugs were dead, he placed them inside the pouch and began the process anew.

Mautar is a quiet dragon, both in personality and in actions. He leaves early to catch bugs and comes back late, usually after everyone is asleep. When given praise, he quickly melts into the background and simply vanishes. It is uncommon to hear him talk more than three words in a row. The only one with whom he is heard talking is with Saalar.
