______ As a Lightning dragon, engineering runs through Opus' veins. But unlike his peers back in the Shifting Expanse, more interested in working with energy and the material world, from a young age Opus was inspired by the studious alchemy of the Arcane clan. He left his family's clan aged 14 to pursue what he deemed, his higher purpose.

Being born a Lightning Skydancer, his intuition is incredibly strong, and combined with his Skydancer sensitivity to the ethereal, Opus quickly grew to become a naturally adept mystic.

He created his Spellbound Golem during a binding class at school. Using his engineering knowledge he built the armor from scratch, then bound together a fire, earth, water and air elemental to form an ether spirit which now resides in the armor, assisting and protecting Opus with a life of its own.

Opus rised through the ranks of the Arcanist's scholars, surpassing revered initiations with ease. He is quick to see the relations between the micro and macrocosms and has written much alchemical material on the workings of the universe.

He is seen by the elders as a future progenitor of brilliant students.
