Sahyadri

A motherly sort, stolid and dependable, with aspects of both a stern taskmaster and a comforting shoulder to cry on. While she hasn’t yet hatched any children of her own, all the hatchlings of Athaza know and look up to “Aunt Yadri” or “Auntie Sahya.”

She enjoys amusing and teasing the youngsters with some of her more flamboyant fashion choices, being particularly fond of large feathers and scarves, but brooks no derisiveness from older dragons on those same clothing choices. She also keeps the little ones distracted with the stash of spooky stories she can whip out at a moment's notice—sometimes autobiographical, possibly a legacy of her shadowy birthplace. She conveys these tales with great drama and a wicked gleam in her eye, but no youngster yet has gotten her to admit it if they’re fabricated.
