Kalimotxo Witch Permanent   Etymology: Kalimotxo, also known as cocavino, is a drink consisting of equal parts red wine and cola-based soft drink. Although recently developed, it has become an icon of Basque culture. A common way of serving kalimotxo is in one liter drinking glasses made of plastic, called minis, cachi, macetas, litros, cubalitros or jarras. The mixture is made directly in this one-liter mini, and often the bottles of cola are reused to make more of the mixture. This is done by emptying half of a two-liter cola bottle and adding one litre of red wine to the bottle. Ice is usually added to the drink. The minis are then shared among the group of drinkers, especially during the botellón drinking street gatherings. |

Terrifying, blood curdling screams are often heard in the vicinity of Kalimotxo, this is typically due to the practice of darker magic and rituals she does but the thick smog that seems a permanent feature of her area can lead to many stubbed toes. A member of the clan's witches, she dedicates herself to magic that can benefit the clan from healing potions to spells cloaking vulnerable areas of the lair. Outside of speaking in magic rituals or spells Kalimotxo stays almost completely silent, prefering to make vague gestures or try to slip away when required to make conversation. Though Kalimotxo prefers solitude, the loss of her protege Tequila has hit her hard. Now she works hard brewing and learning new spells to help the clan heal and stay safe in these dark times. |
