RAVENQUEEN

Many would be surprised to find that RAVENQUEEN is the clan's dragon representative of the Shadow flight, considering her agreeable yet muted demeanor not seeming to lend itself much to a leading role. Nevertheless, she finds pride in that reputation. After all, children of the Shadowbinder must learn to use rumors to their advantage.

As the Shadow representative, she and her Beastclan counterpart Hideaki (Silver Kitsune) are tasked with maintaining diplomatic relations for all things Shadow Flight. The two work together to help those from the Tangled Wood acclimate to wherever they choose to settle within the clan's territories, as well as ensure safe passage between the clan and regions within the Tangled Wood.

When not high atop the Leader's Tower, RAVENQUEEN can be found tending to his herb garden or serving his cafe's patrons in the Starwood Strand. A large proponent of natural remedies, he happily serves various brews and beverages and likes to give precious spices as gifts. Children and hatchlings in particular love the hot cocoas he sells in the colder seasons, but associate RAVENQUEEN's name with the awfully spicy ginger tea that their parents attempt to give them whenever they're under the weather.

RAVENQUEEN himself, despite his hospitality and good nature, tends to be a withdrawn character; preferring the company of plants and shadows over dragons and beastclans. One exception is the fae and kitsune that pass by the clan's territory, like nymphs and gem guardians: as fellow speakers of whispers and fans of tricks, RAVENQUEEN is reminded of his old family in the Foxfire Bramble before losing his way. Idle chatter leaves him scrambling for things to say, while a friendly silence brings him great comfort.
