Jezebel

Beautiful, eloquent, and kind-hearted, Jezebel is the resident storyteller of the clan. Upon coming of age and feeling the call to begin her Search, she left her previous home with little thought and began to roam. Her travels took her to many places, where she met countless other dragons, often taking up temporary residence in other clans. In time, however, the Search would begin anew, her charge still calling to her from some unreachable place. Her frustration mounting, Jezebel chose a life of solitude in her travels.

With solitude, however, comes loneliness. Often, she would find herself terribly lonely, and on those nights when her heart ached for something to protect, somewhere beyond the horizon, she would recall the many dragons she had met, and stories she had learned in her journey. These would help her carry on searching, continuing her journey for a charge to call her own.

Eventually, she came across an old Guardian, close to the end of his life. His tail curled around a large, flowering tree, he growled at her in his blindness until she drew near enough that he could hear her voice and know that she meant no harm to his charge. She sat with him and shared her woes in being unable to find her charge, they shared a meal, and she regaled him with stories from her journeys. The old Guardian smiled at her knowingly.

"Your charge is well kept, young one. The stories you tell are held with care, near your heart. They will keep your spirits high as long as you share them."

By the time Jezebel arrived at Clan Ectochoir and was offered a home by the Clan's leaders, she had traveled far further and had many more stories than the day she met the Guardian. An accomplished weaver of fiction, she could enthrall and entertain with little effort, and the stories she wove, each one coming from a warm heart and a vast imagination, were the only charge she needed.
