Original clan: The Warcrafted

Bachi was sent to Clan Lunam when he was a young hatchling. A drastic change from the Tangled Wood, he had a difficult time adjusting to the harsh climate of the Southern Icefield.

As a hatchling, he was very quiet and reserved. He did not squeak or squeal, even when he was unhappy. The other hatchlings of the clan were wary of him because he seemed to only have half a face. The older dragons knew he bore the markings new to the clan, but the younger ones did not understand that.

As a young dragon, his magical abilities seemed stunted. As a dragon of the Arcanist, he was expected to excel in the arcane arts quickly and at a very young age. Still shy and timid, Bachi was no more skilled at magic than the other hatchlings of the clan. Some thought him to be hopeless and unteachable, but Dionysus, another arcane dragon in the clan, took him under his wing. These private lessons proved to be effective after much time. Dionysus was able to tap into a deep well of power within Bachi. He quickly became as skilled as his master.

While this delighted some in the clan, others were fearful that Bachi would begin to follow in the dark footsteps of his teacher. Dionysus was known for his questionable applications of magic,
and the last thing they wanted was another dragon like that to cause trouble. But unlike Dionysus, it seemed there was a greater good in Bachi. The leaders of the clan were determined that this little fosterling would turn to be a great arcane mage as he was destined to become.
