All her life, Veil had been told to stay away from the opposite sex. Trained by her all-powerful parents, she was to be the next Sorceress, forever to interpret the Gladekeeper's actions and thoughts, forever to keep away from earthly desires and her own emotions. It wasn't the life for her. A dragon with a heart of gold, she wanted to find her perfect mate and have hatchlings. Circumstances proved to be grim. Her hidden desire was discovered on the day she was to be crowned Soceress. Rage followed with Veil losing her eyes in the conflict that ensued. Cast away and ordered to never return, Veil stumbled across the Viridian Labyrinth until she finally reached the darker corners of the Everbloom Gardens. It was here that she finally settled down and made home. Months passed. Veil slowly recovered from her trauma. Now more serious and withdrawn, the coatl patrols her territory using magic as her guide. In the darkness that surrounds her, she hopes for a mate.

A mate to be with her for life.
