Why is writing so hard? Why can't it ever flow, out of my brain like when I was a hatchling? I have to scream, pull it out while it sinks it's talons into my brain, hating the idea of being brought to parchment. My dreams of creating something - writing something that dragons everywhere will rave and love, and maybe, just maybe, the demons in my head will silence about my worth. |

S T O R Y
A writer from the Shadowlands, Sunny was strange since he was born. Bright, crystaline body and wings, in the middle of a dreary and dark land. Being both a Fae and a child of parents with a twisted sense of humor, his attempts to socialize with other dragons left Sunny wanting. Being judged by his facial expressions was so, so frustrating, all the words in his head were already hard enough to get out without the second layer of facial expressions.
And so, he turned to writing. His thoughts penned out on paper - they were so elegant, and easy to understand, at least that's what others said. Enamoured by this medium, he wrote anything that came to mind, from what had happened the previous day, to the fantastical imaginings of his mind, to a re-imagining and re-casting of his clanmate's mundane lives. But as he grew, a voice of doubt started to grow. The stories he wrote were no longer as captivating, his own reserves of imagination seeming to of ran dry. His friends and family were no longer impressed, some suggesting he grow up and find a "real" craft to practice. And so, he left. Now, he searches for a place to call home, and for a new imspiration of imagination, to return to the days where others would be impressed with his work.
