Phobic

The wolf was entirely white, it was almost a beautiful sight had it not been for the fact that this was a monster that sought death to man. Massive in size, this wolf tore through the quiet town with ease. Typically a predator will mind it's own business and let nature take its course.. but not today. Phobic snarled as he drew closer to the wolf. The wolf turned its bloodied maw towards Phobic and growled back. Two apex predators of the old world, rarely did they ever meet let alone come into conflict. Phobic liked what the new world has become. He was done sitting idle by and monsters threatened these humans. Phobic stood his ground, his size considerably bigger. It's not like modern times, predators never backed down from a fight like this.

The wolf let out a fierce growl as it circled around Phobic, Phobic moving slowly, not a movement went miscalculated. Phobic wasn't the type to waste energy like that, he kept his body angled so that the wolf had nowhere to reach but his face. Phobic had a terribly strong outer layer of skin, a shell, similar to bone. Complimenting his massive crocodile like jaws, the dragon was about ready to make the first move before the wolf pounced. The sound of the two massive beasts colliding could be heard from miles around. The snarling and roaring of the wolf drowned out the low pitched noises Phobic made. The low pitched noise was merely a warning, one the wolf would benefit from heeding.

The fight was over before too long, the wolf's body lay in a mess as Phobic remained relatively undamaged. The strength of wolves lay in their numbers and his pack had long been dead. Phobic however was a creature born to do battle and fend for itself alone. He was at the top of the food chain even during the old days of countless other predators. Time has a way of making one forget the clear dangers. Phobic scanned the town, there were still survivors. His job was done.
