Biography
In life, Proxima was a researcher, exploring long-forgotten parts of the Sunbeam Ruins to try to figure out more about their former inhabitants. She insisted on doing her work alone- not only did she generally dislike having to work closely with others, but she also believed herself to be better at her job than any partner she could have ended up with would be. In Proxima's eyes, other dragons would only hold her back and probably ruin some fragile old records while they were at it.
It was this mindset that got her killed in the end, however. Part of an underground chamber she was investigating collapsed, trapping her in. With no one to help clear the exit, Proxima eventually starved to death in that dark, dusty room, completely alone- just as she'd always insisted on being.
Her body was never discovered.
By the time it was reanimated, Proxima's corpse had partially rotted. It rose once more only when Sornieth's magic grew stronger, the increased Light magic flowing through the forgotten remains and bringing it back to a sort of "life". In truth, Proxima herself was still long gone- only her body had been revived.
Motivated by nothing but the raw Light magic moving it, her body now acts as a mindless puppet to Light's basic goals and desires. It continues a fruitless search for information, feverishly scanning the walls of the room it is still trapped within while at the same time never truly taking any new information in.
With no one to stop it, this empty shell will continue the endless loop until its body falls apart to the point where it can no longer move and it physically cannot continue on anymore.
