______ "Traitor!", yet another dragon called to Alark as he walked the streets of the Marketplace.

Rolling his eyes, Alark continued forward, searching for a tent that sold spare nuts and bolts he could use for future inventions. As he walked, some dragons from the Water Flight sneered at him, while others quickly turned away the moment his gaze landed on them. Sighing, Alark used all of his strength within him to keep his head held high, even as more dragons from his former flight scowled at his presence.

After what felt like ages of maneuvering carts and tents, Alark found a tent that held brand-new tools and planks of different materials. Pulling out his sack of gold coins, Alark went over to the tent, ready to make an offer.

His heart sank when the merchant was none other than his enemy, Sartra.

She glared at him and snarled, "Get lost. If you can't serve the God you were made for, then you can't expect for me to provide you any goods!"

"Very well," Alark said cooly, although he clenched his fists. He had merely made a few steps from the tent when the ground began to rumble.

"EARTHQUAKE!" A dragon with icy-white eyes cried before she ran off.

Alark gasped in shock when boulders from nearby mountains began tumbling towards the Marketplace. He covered his wings over his head, waiting for the impact. When nothing happened, Alark looked up, just as a large chunk of a mountain crashed into Sartra's tent. Alark clapped his talons over his ears to block out the shriek of pain.

"Help! HELP!" Sartra cried, whose leg was crushed by the projectile. She frantically scanned the area, until her eyes landed on Alark. "Please, Alark! HELP ME!"

"Why should I help you?" He responded coldly. "You've mocked me for the past several years!

"Please," Sartra begged, tears filling her eyes. "I will do anything if you save me. I'll stop making fun of you. Please."

Alark's eyes landed on the metal beams and bolts that had tumbled out of the tent. He sighed, and then picked up a screwdriver when an idea popped into his head.

Time to be the bigger dragon.

Alark is a dragon fully of sparks and energy, despite coming from the Water Flight. He will come across two dragons from his home flight who will mock him for choosing the path of the Stormcatcher, but though he will become discouraged, his heart will cease his worry. Alark will look left and right to see if he can help other dragons by creating new inventions for whatever purpose their need is. While walking out one day, he will meet a dragon in need of his aid, but at closer look, it was one of the Water dragons who had mocked him. Almost against his will, he will help her, and she will apologize for what she had done the previous year. Alark will come across a few others in need, and will create an invention to change their lives.
