Phrixus lives with his mother, Naoise, in the Library and is the clan's current Librarian and Archivist. Kind hearted, smart, and a little clumsy; he is, simply put, likeable. He has a deep love of history and is always ready to talk about the minutiae of the Court's lore to whoever will listen. He is, for some, perhaps a little too enthusiastic, and among the less friendly denizens of the court has garnered a reputation as an annoying know-it-all.

While he takes a lot of care in his archival work and prides himself on his extensive knowledge of the clan, in private he is rather insecure and wants nothing more than to be recognised and validated - whether this is by his superiors in the clan's hierarchy or literally anyone else, he doesn't care. While he's innately sociable and loves being around people he still very much enjoys his own company, content to pore over old tomes and texts and attempt to analyse their semantics far into the night. Some of his favourite pieces in the library collective are old illuminated texts, retrieved from all over Sornieth.

Stowed under lock and key deep in the library, Phrixus has a peculiar family heirloom; an enchanted sword bound to the Light flight. It was for years passed down between generations of the Lightweaver's kin, last belonging to Phoebus, his father. Phrixus knows that he himself can't use it, but that hasn't stopped him from devoting many, many, hours to uncovering the details of its existence.

At some point in his efforts towards the historical preservation of the clan (and his personal motives in unlocking the mysteries surrounding of the sword) Phrixus began visiting the Hall of the Divine Light.

This in part is how he slowly works his way under Silas' skin. He sees the isolation and doesn't recognise its nature as being self-made; just lonely.
