PERSONALITY

Molino's effortlessly friendly -- and the first thing you'll notice about them is their genuine enjoyment of their job. They spend all their time by the docks, like to wave to visitors flying in or coming off boats, all the time they're doing so sanding down planks and sealing wood and metal together and humming to themselves as they work.

Showing up to talk to them is always risky business, because chances are they'll just get started talking about their ships. They're a walking encyclopedia about them and if you want some useful knowledge Molino's more than happy to give it away. They're pretty naive, and rarely stop to think about whether or not they should do things -- they live in the moment and nobody bothers to babysit them about it.

You have to be pretty forceful to navigate them without letting them slip back into their own little world, but that's just about fine because Molino doesn't take offense to anything, whether that be harsh words or actual blows. They forgive quickly and have never been known to hold a grudge which doesn't always go well for them.

They're very excitable and form close bonds with others quickly. They're pretty much the very definition of a teddy bear -- they look sharp and dangerous from a distance, but up close there's absolutely nothing threatening about them.

named for molino canyon, a steep-sided canyon in the coronado national forest and santa catalina mountains northeast of tuscon, arizona
