Captain Tamara
Retired Captain of the Miasmic Royal Guard
✦ Tamara has been in the Miasmic Royal Guard since she was old enough to enlist. It was a personal dream of hers to serve King Yamanu in his prime, and she did so with everything that she had. Her tenacity and prowess in battle, as well as her sharp mind and tactics, drove her straight to the top within just five years. She made stellar advancements that got Yamanu's attention almost immediately.
✦ As Captain of the Royal Guard, Tamara found and enlisted her half-brother Tom, using the Guard as both an outlet and cover-up for his Shade infection. She protected him for as long as she possibly could, until his monstrous Shade-forme could not be concealed any longer. Tamara stood alongside him as they petitioned King Yamanu for his right to remain in the Guard as long as he could keep the beast at bay.
✦ During the final battle against Ginnungagap's forces, just before the Bludval Kingdom turned the tides in the Miasmic Kingdom's favor, Tamara was struck by a powerful Shadeborne magic that took her out of the fight completely. As the battle subsided and healing efforts were able to concentrate, the Captain fell into a deep comatose state that even the most experienced healers were unable to wake her from.
✦ With the battle over for many months now, the Alliance in full swing and the world healing from the scars of the battle with Ginnungagap, Tamara finally has awoken from her magically-induced coma and slowly begun the process of regathering her strength. Although she is healing quickly, her title has been passed to Captain Kairon - one of her most trusted, in her prime - and she has accepted that her time in the Guard is over for good. Now, she is focusing on healing and recovering the ability to walk.
