Serpenta is a schemer who likes to sow discord wherever she goes. She grew up learning how to manipulate, and she's good enough at it that many do not see through it. One example is her naive and loyal brother Jester who adores his sister and will defend her at every turn even as she uses him for her own amusements. Serpenta simply doesn't care, viewing other dragons as puppets who's strings she can pull to make them do what she wants them to.
Serpenta's latest scheme has been to create the Golden Rose Society - a sort of cult reserved only for dragons who share the same genes and colour-combo as she does. At least that's the purpose she's told the members it's for. The true reasons for the Golden Rose Society are both to feed Serpenta's ego (having loyal followers, holding her own genes & colours as better than everyone else's) and to one day take over the clan leader role from Selene with the help of her "army".
When Rib mounted his takeover, Serpenta decided it would be for the best to assist him, but most of the Golden Rose Society did not agree with her. As a result the Society disbanded and Serpenta's only loyal follower left is her brother Jester. Rib's takeover left her disappointed too, as it didn't give her more power and influence as she'd hoped. She now keeps something of a low profile, essentially having retreated to lick her wounds.
