Biography
Borestar came from The Logos Phylai, and stood down as Pearlcatcher Matriarch for the Hatchlings of the Dawn quite early in her tenure. She wasn't very good at it. Unfortunately, somebody decided it was a good idea to put her in charge of the dragonets so now everybody is suffering.
The flighty Pearlcatcher is very fond of the little dragonets, but this just means she lets them run all over her, with very little in the way of discipline. She is very easily convinced to join in with their schemes of mischief.
On occasion Borestar will give a very dramatic prophecy, usually in public at the top of her lungs – many of them relate to the end of the world. Although this has yet to happen, Borestar insists that it is only a matter of time. The Pearlcatcher Matriarch, Solana, is sometimes able to reign her in, but the crimson dragon usually has more important things to do, and Borestar is left to her own devices. Quite where she got the veil from is completely unknown.
At the very least, the water dragon is able to keep the dragonets in good health and high spirits.
Borestar's mate is Kovit, who keeps a record of everything the clan buys and sells in trade.
