Known simply as Fate to most of Sornieth, Fatewatcher is infamous for his mastery of powerful magic and sorcery. Many dragons see him as a villainous threat to Sornieth- and they aren't wrong- but others see hints of compassion in Fate, a chance for a brighter future- if anyone bothered to bring it out of him.
Fate was born in a careless clan, his parents willing to send him to the Deities in exchange for a few gems. But Fate escaped with his brother and sister, taking shelter in the Southern Icefield.
Being the youngest of his siblings, Fate tended to be more of a follower than a leader. But little did he know, that was what was going to turn him towards evil.
Fate and his siblings, Mordant and Remnant, were all naturally gifted with powerful magic. Fate's brother Remnant was determined to use his magic for good, but Mordant followed a darker path. In secret, Mordant convinced Fate to practice dark magic, using his gift to torment and kill. He began with small animals, then wild familiars, until Mordant finally convinced him to murder another dragon.
Together, Fate and Mordant became infamous killers, slaughtering random victims across the Southern Icefield. Alone, they were each formidable opponents. Together, their magic was an unstoppable force that very few dragons could protect from.
But Fate didn't want to kill other dragons. While he would easily kill to protect himself, he didn't like to spill their blood or hear their screams like Mordant did.
