______ Aesthetic Paragraph

______ The first time Inachus saw a scroll, he fell in love. The texture of the parchment, the dark sheen of the ink, the soft curves of the letters... it was intoxicating. He stole away from his clan whenever possible to sit at the table of the local scribe, just to watch her write for hours and hours. It was simple- Inachus loved the written word. While he worried his mother and vexed his father, the scribe didn't mind. As he sat and watched, she taught him to recognize letters and, when he had mastered the alphabet, to read. Of the hatchlings in his clan, he was the first to read and the first to write.

______ It was only natural that Inachus leave his clan. Nature dragons could not appreciate words the way he did. For that, he would have to venture into the territory of the Light dragons and hope that he could find a clan that welcomed him. Several weeks into his journey, Inachus found himself caught in a storm, unusually large for the Sunbeam Ruins. Seeking sanctuary, he approached the nearest building and knocked, only to find himself in the largest collection of books he had ever seen.

______ Physical appearance

______ Since his arrival at the Library, Inachus has climbed the ranks and earned the title of Head Scribe. Despite his higher rank, Inachus still loves manning the Reference Desk which gives him the chance to connect with visitors and other librarians. Luckily, growing up as an outsider has given him a kindness towards other species that many pearlcatchers do not display, but his propensity for gossip is just as strong as his family's. In this case, his tendency to write everything down may make him even more dangerous, as he is bound to lose track of at least one scroll full of sordid details.
