Gharis, otherwise known as 'Prince Ghar,' was a lost soul wandering the edges of the Tangled Wood before the Magde found him and brought him to her lair. A proud, pompous and ostentatious dragon, Ghar claimed to be on a journey from a remote kingdom in the Plaguelands, and he spared no opportunity to remind the others of his royalty. In truth, Gharis was a member of the warrior caste of his previous clan, and was forced out and chased off for his lack of dedication to their plague-spreading cause, instead preferring to busy himself with the beautiful trinkets and lavish clothing plundered off fallen foes. Though trained for combat, he preferred to lounge and surround himself with things he considered beautiful, which ultimately brought down the ire of his clan leaders and resulted in his exile.

Despite Ghar's adoration of expensive jewelry and finery, he also loves and misses the abject decay and rot of the Scarred Wasteland, and so replicates a little piece of home in the area of the lair he has claimed for himself. Small cauldrons of rot and ill bubble amidst bone piles stacked higher than some of the dragons neighboring his plot, and desiccated corpses are strewn about and posed in gaudy mockery of aristocracy. Centered in all the blight and rot is Ghar's roost, where gold, silver and platinum are no stranger, and where some of the finest and rarest silks to be found are draped about in a show of decadence in decay. Ghar still enjoys the thrill of the occasional battle, and so helps out among the warriors of his new clan, but in the Shadow witche's lair he can delight in all the rot and gold his heart desires. Gharis was discovered by the Magde, lost and alone, but among her clan he has found his home.
