Biography

He is not like the other dragons in his lair. Glaurung keeps to himself, and often it seems that he is hiding a big secret that he feels he can't tell anyone about, but he desperately wants to tell someone. He frequently sits alone in the back of the lair whispering to his Southmarsh Podid. Early in the morning one morning he was whispering to his familiar and Darkling happened to overhear what he was saying. Glaurung acted angry until Darkling promised not to say anything about it to anyone else, then suddenly he became overjoyed because his secret was no longer hidden. Now he joins in on more of the lair's group activities but he still frequently sits alone with his Southmarsh Podid, whispering.
