Gasira

His familiar is a male serthis named Sulkaz, who is using his time with Gasira to learn the ways of an ambassador. He was originally from the Worldwound before the disaster following the awakening elements led to the annihilation of his sect at the claws of furious, frustrated dragons with nothing better to take their wrath out on. Fighting back did nothing against the numbers and strength of their attackers; all the survivors could do was flee, scattered to the world. Sulkaz himself managed to talk a young mirror down, buying time for himself and a few others to escape.

Gasira encountered him and the other survivors in the Wandering Contagion that borders Starfall Isles. Though the serthis braced themselves for another battle, Gasira just invited them back to the tavern and walked home with half a dozen serthis coiled in between his spines.

The horrors Sulkaz witnessed then have left him very adverse to bloodshed, for a Serthis. (For reasons he doesn't understand, other methods of violence are fine, but he does react poorly to the sight of any red liquid.) His patience and soft, whispering voice act as a balance to Gasira's ridgeback temper. Sulkaz hopes that his ragtag new sect will survive better, gifted with voice as well as blade. Massive draconic allies certainly do not hurt.
Sulkaz has an almost mentor-student relationship with Silver's familiar Ves; he greatly respects and admires the older serthis, though he does not understand Ves's feelings for Silver. Perhaps one day they might make sense.

Gasira is quite protective of Sulkaz and does his best to keep the young serthis safe from aggressive travelers and those in Clan Stelaris that are not quite accustomed to Beastclan being allowed to wander freely. Locals are getting used to seeing the big ridgeback wander around with a little snake person coiled around his pointy nose.
