Shriek hatched first, the secret child of the Usurpers. She was never meant to be be born. Her parents raised her and her nest in the depths of Hellreek's holding cell, deep beneath the Wyrmwound where the acid rained down. Shriek learned quickly to ignore the pain of the filth splashed upon her, curling her flesh away. The pain was worth it in the end, she supposes. She grew strong, blessed by the Mother. She became resilient, and her body started being less and less effected. Nothing could touch her, not even the dreaded gembond virus. Her mother's plan was this; she would raise Shriek, and then smuggle her through the gate when the guard switched. Shriek would integrate into Hellreek, thought to be a lost whelp of the Boneyard, and then she would break her out. She would kill Akeelah. She would rule the Hellreek, and become the Bone Queen once more. It went well, up until the last step. While ruthless, and vile, Shriek had a soft spot her mother did not consider. Once part of Hellreek, Shriek could not bring harm upon her new family who treated her like a dragon, not a pawn. She confessed her mother's plan to Akeelah, and then fled across the Boneyard, both proud and ashamed of herself. |

Shriek was conditioned well when she was a child. Her face is either stony cold or a snarling inferno, her claws sharp and ready. She doesn't trust easily, and tries to put as much distance between her and others as she can. She is violent, and has the skills to back up her retched temper. In battle she makes sure to brutalize any and all of her victims, though the pent up rage could be due to her borderline neglectful childhood. But she likes nothing more than to see the little guy rise from the ashes. She will fight for the oppressed and underprivileged until her lungs give out. She is rather unsure of where this compulsion came from. She does not realize that she, too, is the little guy. She is as ruthless in conversation as she is in battle, and her tongue has been known to flay many others. She is blunt, and isn't afraid to speak her mind, leading to many a broken heart and set of hurt feelings. |
