Biography

sio3XLY.png It was a warm summer day within The Shattered Plain. A breeze blew in from the east, bringing a faint scent of flowers and trees in from the neighboring nature realm. Dust was stirred from its resting place, exposing deep gray stones with crackles of purple gemstones throughout its surface.

The stone itself seemed to be breathing, a soft ebb and flow of life etching itself out of the earth itself. The magic in the earth took its time fashioning the form of a new dragon from itself. The shape of a small fae's head lifted itself out of the ground, shaking rubble from its frills. Slowly she crawled from the earth, her body hewn from the very stone she had been birthed from. The gemstone cracks opalized upon her rocky scales and wings. She stood quietly, patiently looking at her new surroundings, knowing without instruction this place was now her charge, a home to build within the stony plains that encompassed her. Here she would create the Gemstone Clan.

Stone spends her days perfecting a magic that creates life from the minerals within the earth. A gemstone vein must be present in order for the spells she uses to work. With each new dragon born of this magic, her ability to perform the spells greatly improves, thus strengthening her clan with each new life.

The Gemstone Clan simply calls their leader "Stone". It's unknown if she has any other name, or if she has one at all. She simply accepts what they've chosen to call her. When not working on bringing new gemstones to life, Stone is usually found collecting the smaller gemstones that have broken and cracked away from the larger veins. She sends them off to the clan jeweler to be fashioned into decorative accessories for her clan mates to wear.
