Imagine the shock and horror that echoed through the seafaring community when the waves parted, massive shadows from the deep causing all manner of ocean life to flee from the forms that rose from the darkness.
Woken from slumber by a careless fishing trawler that had gotten too greedy and set his nets a little too deep, the Pair, angered by the damage and loss of their habitat, had decided to let the surface-fearing world know of their presence. To let them know that the deepest depths and it's surrounding territories were protected.
Woe to any that ignores the tales now."
