Nightwind is quite a mysterious dragon, and not much is known about him besides his love of dark magic, and potions. Though he is a dragon born of light, he finds better comfort in the darkness of shadows where he can work undisturbed on creating his questionable potions and spells.

Nightwind is a dragon with next to no morals. He is unopposed to testing his creations on any willing (or unwilling) candidates he can get his talons on. He is a Quiet and resourceful soul, who has a brilliant mind, but refuses to use it on anything other than what he's dedicated his life on.
Nightwind is considered to be overly studious, disappearing into his den for hours and weeks on end to read up on magical discoveries and to experiment on his own. As for interacting with others, no one even knows if he likes any other dragons, because not many are willing to try, but for those who do, he tends to give them an unwavering stare until they leave.

It isn't fully known where Nightwind came from, but a popular speculation is that He migrated from a fire clan, and after being attacked by a group of Beastclan, he dragged his way to the nearest clan in the rotrock rim. Of course in reality, He had left his original clan, Howling Dragon, after realizing that he'd no place in their clan, since they already had a herbalist, and a potions-master. Afterwards, he migrated away to explore the rest of sornieth to find new plants and magic to use. He actually had ran afoul of a group of Serthis when he kidnapped one to test a new form of transformation spell on it, turning it into a horrifying, repulsive monster. The Serthis, Wanting to take revenge for their brethren's fate, tracked down Nightwind, and Attacked him. Using his magic, he managed to escape, and made his way to the closest clan to heal. He managed to find a home there, and to this day, had stayed to serve the clan that saved his life.

Updates

Since then, many dragons have taken interest in Nightwind. Such as the semi-blind coatl, Haurahi. She sees the light within him, and is falling in love with him. Although he doesn't seem too interested. And very much so unlike him, he reached out and found an apprentice to help him with his potions and experiments. His name is Fearful, and Nightwind actually is enjoying his company! Although Nightwind will test potions on Fearful without his permission by slipping it into his drinks from time-to-time.
