Vorsick

Abandoned as a hatchling, Vorsick grew up in isolation for much of his life, trailing behind a traveling pair of dragons and feeding on the scraps they would leave behind. He longed to reach out to the duo, but fear kept him held back, driving him into hiding for most of the day, only to come out at night where darkness would cloak him. When he wasn't stealing food, Vorsick would spend his time exploring the forest, and all the creatures within it. The glowing runes on his skin would attract a variety of bugs and small creatures which Vorsick would play with and chase. He slept within the roots of an old tree, and would gather small trinkets he found while scouring the woods at night. One dusk however, he was spotted by one of the dragons he'd been following. Alerting the other, the two dragons had then chased Vorsick through the woods, and back to his hollow in the tree. Cornering him, the two tried their best at coaxing out the terrified hatchling, but to no avail. Now knowing they'd been being stalked by the little fellow the two dragons settled down to wait him out. It did not take too long, surprisingly, until Vorsick finally crawled out of his hiding place. After doing so, he was once again cornered by the two dragons who then proceeded to gently ask him where he'd came from and what his intentions were. Still shaken up, Vorsick had told them he "came from nowhere" and that he had merely wanted to eat their scraps. Feeling sorry for the poor thing, the two dragons introduced themselves as Haki and Nyfin, and offered Vorsick a place among their group. Vorsick learned the two were newcomers to the land, seeking to start a clan of their own one day. From then on, Vorsick traveled with the pair, watching as more and more dragons began to join them, growing and learning all the while. Now, Vorsick is full grown, and has found a place among this new clan. He still likes to journey out by himself though, and more often than not can still be found out in the woods late at night, perhaps still collecting little trinkets, perhaps still searching for his past, perhaps just a lost soul who can never truly be at home or at peace with himself. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps...
