Bonolenov is independent, antisocial and introverted. He came from an ancient clan where it was tradition to pierce large holes within the members, from an extremely young age (hence the bandages). He, and the other members of the clan, were trained to produce music from the holes in their body, and to change this music in ways. Some made music which would cause their enimies to fall into a frenzied hypnotic dance. However the small clan was chased out of their plot of land by other clans, and in the end, Bono' left, for reasons he has not revealed to the Troupe, however he showed he was loyal, and used his music to kill successfully, and it is used to pull people into deadly traps too.
