B I O G R A P H Y

He was born into a clan of Fae that had, for whatever reason, decided to settle in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Talcum was sent off at an early age to study Elemental Attacks and the like, even if he didn’t really care to learn about it, at Fishspine reef, even if he was well loved by his parents and family. Unfortunately, the place where he was studying was attacked by a menacing force, and he was forced to flee. He ended up on the outskirts of Leviathan Trench. Shuddering with fear, he claimed a large cave and hid in there, missing home and wishing that he had never left home.

Every morning while most of the beasts were asleep, he’d gather insects to eat and fresh water to drink, though he never did remember how, or where. He always returned home by nightfall. He hated it there, and wished he could leave. Suddenly, one day as he was leaving his cave in the morning, a creature attacked him with brute force, giving him a terrible injury on his tail and right arm. However, before the strange creature could kill him, a mysterious purple and cyan dragon burst forth. As he fell unconscious, he just barely saw the purple dragon slash at his attacker before darkness overwhelmed him.

When he woke up, he learned the name of the purple dragon -who he recognized as a Mirror Female. Star. However, unlike most hatchlings’ fantasies, His rescuer was anything but a sweet dragon, and his monotone voice did NOT help the situation. They constantly bickered -also Talcum sounded like he wanted to sleep- and it was rather irritating, but they eventually found a truce. Slowly, overtime, their feelings grew. In the end they decided to start a clan together. Their story has just begun.

_The Fight_

____He just barely stepped out of his cave when suddenly a dark shape came hurtling towards him, claws outstretched, teeth bared, shrieking something intelligible. He was knocked over by the force of the creature. He struggled to fight back, to push the thing off of him, but thanks to his small stature, he couldn’t. His blows dealt only a little damage to the creature.

____Suddenly, he felt sharp claws rake down his right arm and he cried out in pain. Again, claw marks, but this time of his tail. He fought fiercely to get the thing off, to get away, but it bashed him on the head. Suddenly, he saw a female mirror the color of violets violently attack the thing on top of him. Just before he was knocked out, he saw her finish the thing, and head towards him, his fate at her mercy.

_When He Left _

____When Talcum left his family, he was still a child, a hatchling, not ready to go away from home yet. But he had been deemed worthy, and so his training had to start immediately. Mother packed him food for the journey, and Father patted him on the back and told him how proud he was. And there he went, watching his parents getting smaller and smaller until they were but a dot on the horizon. Now he was all alone in the world.

____He arrived at the school in a matter of hours, which was good because Talcum was getting afraid. But he was welcomed with many other hatchlings into the magnificent building, and he felt at home as soon as he walked in. He was glad that he had come here, and was glad that he got to stay. But not for long.

Oh Talcum, who started so small now has a clan so big, but they have all gone, he is alone again as his clan and family scatters to the wind, a lonely soul lost in the world, an old man now.
