Biography
He was once the leader of a mighty clan nestled deep in the wastes. Laid to rest in a shallow grave by those who betrayed him, his spirit fought against its bindings and vowed to seek revenge. A fox came to him and spoke of receiving what he wished. All he had to do was accept the pelt of a beast as his own, the very one he had been buried with.
At first he hesitated. It was a sin to come back from death. The thought only lasted a fleeting moment before it was eaten away by the flames of the fox. He clawed his way out of the hole, body skeletal, but slowly reforming. His memory was foggy, but he found his way back to his old lair.
To the Mirror's shock, his old clan was nowhere to be found. The only souls were that of a bird faced Skydancer and his family of resurrected Guardians. The fox had tricked him he thought. How would he have his revenge now? He sat at the base of the fire defeated, watching the necromancer welcome him as if he was a long lost friend. For some reason, he felt at peace around this doctor, despite his remarks of how funny it was to see a Mirror covered in fur.
Remote resurrection seems to be a viable magic, though the use of other souls consumes valuable resources. At least now I know the fox can hunt down wolves for me.
