Biography

Giselle
"Wealthy Hunter / Neutral Evil"

"I am the man we both couldn't stand
I can't wash off the dirt from my hands
What was it like to feel in love?
What was it like to feel in love?"

She is invisible when she hunts. Her hide blends seamlessly with the tree bark around her. Giselle is a master hunter, and she'll make sure you know it.

On normal days Giselle comes off as self-absorbed and greedy, but don't worry she doesn't care. She just wants to sell her hunting trophies, take the money, and leave. Off to go get more, and so the cycle continues. Giselle's favorite target are the snowfall elk that live in the Boreal Wood. Only a select few are able to track them, and even less can successfully kill them. Giselle prides herself on this skill and uses it to its full economic advantage. While she lives in a simple tent in the woods during the hunting season, she has a massive lair back home she shares with no one but her wealth. Stuffed elk heads line the walls, furs are draped everywhere, and her prized daggers are on display in the main hall.

Not that anyone comes to see them anyway, Giselle just loves to boost her ego. Most of the clan hates her narcissistic attitude, some being able to tolerate or back talk it, but overall they can't live without the amount food she brings in. This conceited Ridgeback has made a name for herself in the world, but not a respectable one. Perhaps that will change one day? Eh, probably not.

"Hm. Mediocre," Ammutseba scoffed, looking around. Nothing but mounted heads and dust. What was there to look at, exactly? She was just looking for a place to stay until the heat subsided a bit outside. She'd expected to find something a bit nicer considering the grand appearance of the lair from the outside, but it wasn't much to look at from within. But it was empty and hospitable, so Ammutseba would take it until she could find somewhere better.

As she was about to enter a different room, the sound of footsteps behind her alerted her to the presence of someone else within the lair. Ammutseba spun around, coming face to face with a Ridgeback at least five times larger than her. Stunned for a moment, she quickly snapped out of it and sent a gust of air from her incense burner always at her side. She didn't flinch at the sound of a body thudding against the ground, though she was a bit worried hearing the quiet clink of metal.

Seeing the daggers, the Shaman picked them up before examining them. Gorgeously crafted, high-quality metal. A fine weapon for a hunter. She set them aside for a moment. As a precaution, she let a cloud of magic-laced incense float around the Ridgeback's head. Glancing down, Ammutseba figured that it was the Ridgeback's home she was in. She considered finishing her off, but decided against it. She was skilled enough to sneak up on her, a shaman, and she was certainly a nice sight for sore eyes. Killing the Ridgeback would be a waste.

"I'll leave a gift," Ammutseba hummed. “Your efforts were valiant, but steel cannot beat magic.” Removing one of the gold earrings in her ear, hooking it onto the unconscious hunter's sharp claws and placing a quick peck to the other's head. She grinned before lifting the cloud and turning to leave.
