Eruza
My gift cannot be described, only experienced.

Eruza and her sister Salatha are mystics, close to the essence of Sornieth. From her hatchling days, and especially in moments of quiet reflection, Eruza has been able to hear... things - whispers and mutters, fluttering sensations of voice against her scales and in her mind. There are no words to make out of this, only vague sensations of understanding and knowledge.

There is rarely a truly still moment, then, for Eruza. But how could she mind the disturbance when its vibrations suffuse her being with a divine connection to this world and its energies?

Perhaps because of the nature of her gift, Eruza feels called to the teachings of the Lightweaver, unlike her sister who closely follows the Gladekeeper. Eruza's connection to the Light outwardly manifests in her small hoard of rare scrolls and writings, but is most obvious in her philosophical tilt and her hunger for knowledge. Where Salatha is typically content to placidly accept the ways of the universe instead of questioning them, Eruza seeks to know the details of this world. Why does Sornieth's life force flow in certain ways and not others? What is the nature of the dragon deities, and how does it relate to that of Sornieth and beyond?

Eruza was close with Salatha for most of their youth, growing alongside her and playfully arguing over the fine points of their respective beliefs. However, the two sisters have recently been driven to separate for their respective Searches. Eruza, for her part, is convinced they will one day meet again - but for now, there are paths to travel, whispers to obey, and instincts to pursue.

For now, indeed, it suffices to wonder where this other internal call will drive her.
