Zircon

Zircon serves as an oracle for the clan, having been hatched and raised under the influence of the water element. More times than not, he can be seen peering into his pearl, attempting to divine the future, and noting what he sees in his journal. Over the years, he has caught the attention of Amethyst, the clan's scholar and the two have now become rather close, even forming a family together. He has two children, Howlite and Turquoise.

Zircon came to the Tangled Woods on a spiritual journey of sorts. The seer believed that if he could challenge himself to foresee the future even despite the murk of the Shadow domain, he could further his training even more than would his peers using traditional methods. While he can see glimpses of the future, the elemental energies of the domain make it hard to see clearly, and sometimes all he can get is a single still image. Sometimes the process leaves him with headaches or mental exhaustion, which has caused his mate, Amethyst, to check up on him often, leaving him with freshly brewed tea, meals, and whatever else he might need. She spends nights by his side, supporting him in his endeavors but remaining a voice of reason for when he insists he'll be okay 'staying up a while later' when it's already midnight.
