Dawnstriker

Dawnstriker is a member of the Shade Fragment Eliminators, a group of robot dragons dedicated to the complete elimination of the Shade in all its forms. Dawnstriker, in particular, is a warrior, but one with a very special ability. During operations that do not require stealth, he is commonly the one at the thick of the fray.

He has an enchantment that causes all beings around him to want to stare directly at him - it's so strong that at times he has distracted even fellow Shade Fragment Eliminators. Once all the enemy combatants are aware of his presence and he knows that at least a large amount of them are looking straight at him, he unleashes his built-in reservoir of powdered aluminum and oxidising salt, causing a massive flash and a sound that has been likened to an exploding star.

He is usually able to signal all his fellow SFE warriors in an area whenever he is about to use his ability, allowing them to temporarily deactivate their optical and auditory sensors to prevent damage or overload, but on a few occasions he has temporarily blinded an ally. He once had a long, drawn-out argument with Ledo over when to "appropriately" use his abilities.
