Doomstreak

Doomstreak is the leader of the Twilight Colony. Consisting mostly of nocturnal dragons from many flights, the Twilight Colony hunts through the nights and retreats home to sleep in the mornings. She commands loyalty from her clan, but some of the Light dragons dislike the clan's nocturnal lifestyle. Cynfaen especially dislikes Doomstreak, and actively attempts to usurp her frequently.

Doomstreak is a benevolent, graceful ruler, but forceful when needed. She is a master of magical arts, able to hold her own against much larger enemies. Everyone in the colony knows the destructive power of Doomstreak's magic, as it is the only reason she is still alive today. She was attacked by Centaurs as a hatchling, but managed to seal herself in a cave in the Crystalspine Reaches by tearing down the entrance. For many years, this cave served as a home for the Twilight Colony.

When Doomstreak was attacked by centaurs, she lost the ability to use her wings for longer periods of time. To keep herself afloat, she manufactured a secondary pair of wings with the help of a friendly lightning dragon. The ability to make them run on magic was her own personal addition. When these wings also fail, Doomstreak always has Ecto, her lifelong friend and soulmate, by her side. He is always willing to carry Doomstreak along long roads.

As for her Primrose Mith, she found it one day with a broken wing outside of the Colony's lair. She brought it in and attempted to fix its wing, to no avail. In order to keep it safe, Doomstreak keeps the Mith on her shoulder at most times, and in her nest when she goes hunting.
