Biography
Kyanos was born as a Guardian on the edge of Carrion Canyon, but an accident in her youth led to her life as a fae. Not having been born a fae, Kyanos found it hard to fit in among others of her kind, (they were dull, while she was animated and lively; communication issues abounded) and so when the Seeking came, she was glad to follow it. The road to her charge was long and hard, but eventually he came streaking across the sky in a ball of fire. His name was Hulk.
Kyanos knew that they were going to be great friends, and even though Hulk was quiet, she was more than talkative enough for them both. They formed a close bond, both fiercely protective of the other. As time went on, Hulk started speaking to her more, and on one bright day, they found Emmy. Emmy was a Tundra like Hulk, beautiful and green, and like Hulk she was alone, until Kyanos had found her. Now they were a family of sorts, a clan of three, but Emmy felt the call of the Stormcatcher, and eventually left to join his ranks though it had broken Hulk’s heart. Kyanos tried to comfort him, but nothing seemed to help, until they happened upon a vagabond named Myna. Myna was a great, if somewhat begrudging, addition to their clan, and she encouraged Hulk to continue on with his own sort of Seeking.
And so they set off across the rest of the Shifting Expanse searching from the Highland Scrub to the Tempest Spire, encountering more dragons along the way, some who stayed, while others moved on. Once they searched the whole of the desert, Hulk decided they would go south, to the Southern Icefields, and Kyanos agreed. For even though she is no longer a guardian, Hulk is her charge, and she will follow him wherever he needs to go to find what he has lost.
Having started life as a Guardian, Kyanos is full of energy. She is often chattering about one thing or another, but she can stop and listen when necessary which is part of what makes her a great friend. She is headstrong and stubborn, and deals with most of the day to day problems that arise within the clan. She considers herself to be Hulk’s second in command and she takes her job of keeping their family protected very seriously. Despite her current size, she is not one to be crossed.
