______ Neriya is well known for being the greediest, most self-indulgent, ignorant, arogant, and irritable dragon in the clan. It is no secret to anyone that she absolutely adores Treasure, gems, and anything else even remotely shiny. While most dragons in the clan are willing to help and keep things going, if it doesn't directly involve Neriya herself she will stay out of it. The goings on of others are of no concern to her. She is reserved to take care of herself first, and above all others, except for in certain situations of course. Neriya has a hard time being happy as there is usually always something else on her mind, though she often says that Money is the source of happiness. If she sees something she wants, she will brood about it for days before finding something else to brood over. As greedy and irritable as she can be, Neriya is actually very trustworthy. She respects the fact that things belong to other people, and that no matter how much she wants them she has her own things that she wants no one else to take. The only time she is considerate of others is when it involves things. She could care less if it involves another dragon, but if they have had something precious stolen... that is when she will get involved. Though she will deny it, she does care about a select few dragons. Namely her mate Iron, her son Oliver, her best friend Star, Flamewreath, and Sosaku. She has a strong disliking towards Cloud.

______ Neriya usually stays in her cave all day, 24/7. She works as the treasurer in the clan, so it is her job to keep all the treasure and gems safe. She takes this job very seriously, for it is of the few things she truly cares the most about. Though she has been tempted to take advantage of her job as treasurer as a way of completely controlling the hoard, she always ignores it in the end. She does however get involved if the clan make transactions that she feels are not necessary. She demands that they always have a store of at least 100,000 treasure in case anything happens. Whether others agree or not, the stores are usually kept above 100,000 just to make her shut up.

______ Neriya's familiar is rather strange. Dunhoof centaurs may be dragons allies, but those of Wintermane- which her familiar belongs to- are enemies of the dragons. In fact, that was how she met him. He snuck into the clan and tried to kill her. She fought back and wounded him gravely. Shockingly, she did not go in for the kill. In fact, as she inspected him, she called over Saphire the clan's healer to tend to him. Liam, for that was his name, was shocked as the Coatl healed him. Neriya would check on him every day to make sure he got better. Saphire herself was weirded out at how involved the usually very distant Spiral was. When he was fully healed, Neriya offered to let him go. However, Liam was now very curious of the dragons who were much unlike what he had been told they were. He asked if he could stay with her to learn more about the clan and it's dwellings. Neriya accepted and the two have become nearly inseperable. He helps her guard the treasure and lets her know when others come. Liam has come to rethink everything he thought he knew, and has claimed himself an ally of the dragons once more.

______ Neriya joined long after Vaina left the clan, but a while before most of the newer dragons joined. As a hatchling, Neriya was taught to strive for her goals no matter the cost. Her parents were fairly wealthy themselves, and they prided themselves on it. Neriya took that to heart, beginning to care more for sparkly things than any living being around her. She would keep to herself, up until the point where she was kicked out of her nest. It was a rather rude awakening for her when she was given the boot. She was shocked and slightly hurt, but she was determined to move on. She left her clan entirely and searched for a clan with a great ammount of wealth to join. Not caring for the foolish war over flights around her, she went from land to land. It was on her travels that she happened accross the Ximbakuta clan. As she did with most other clans she encountered, she lay in hiding, watching the dragons as they went about her day. She was pleased at the seemingly expensive apparel she saw and decided to come out. She flew into the clan, looking for the Matriarch. She was confronted by Cloud who had noticed the strange dragon walking around their camp, and was subdued when she heard that Neriya wished to see Flamewreath. Cloud called some of her guards and took the dragoness to Flamewreath's cave. After much talking, Neriya decided she was satisfied and declared that she was joining their clan. Flamewreath accepted her 'request' though Cloud was annoyed at the dragonesses lack of respect.
______ Soon after, Flamewreath noticed her obsession with treasure and materialistic items. He also noticed how she would refrain herself from taking anything even though he could plainly see how much she wanted it. He offered her the job of treasurer, and explained how she would be in charge of protecting and counting the money the clan received. Neriya eagerly accepted. From then on she almost never left her cave, obsessed with doing her job and doing it well. The only times she would go out were to socialize for a bit and to eat. It was towards the end of her first year in the clan that she noticed him. He was large, grey, but he reminded her of a precious gem. It was then that she knew she just had to talk to him. It started with small talk, but gradually Iron caused her to really open up. It was so clear to her that this was the dragon she wanted to spend her whole life with. It was Iron who finally asked her though, and she accepted.
