About
Augusta moved to the Sea of a Thousand Currents for reasons only known to her. If she's feeling chatty she'll tell you how she was born in the Viridian Labyrinth but has lived pretty much everywhere at some point or another. But really, she's just finished her Search.

You see, Augusta is a tree mage. After learning and mastering the ways of cultivating plants and trees, she selects a seed from the mage's stores- one that speaks to her- and she goes on a quest to find exactly where it should be planted. Once sown, the seed and its resulting tree are her Charge, which she will tend to and protect for the rest of her life. Should the tree die before her, she may choose to tend to a tree once belonging to another now-passed tree mage guardian. After all, nature is unpredictable and even with magic, some things are simply beyond a dragon's control.

Augusta has found that her seed is from the Water Flight and so she has settled in the Land of Colored Sand for its soil is perfect for her Charge. She has planted the seed and it's already sprouted now. With great care, and even a little luck, her tree will reach full maturity and flourish within her lifetime so she can see her accomplishment.

The job isn't too lonely, either. She's taken interest in an imperial belonging to her territory's sisterclan.



Etymology: Named for her peridot tertiary.
