Cinet spent most of his hatchlinghood being raised by his Coatl father, Lakendra, as his mother had left the pair long before his clutch-of-two had hatched. Being the elder sibling, Cinet had detached himself away from his father and brother, Achelis, at an early age, preferring to live a life without boundaries. Soon after he had learned to fly, Cinet took off from his family and started his bachelor lifestyle. He found himself battling many foes along the way, gaining experience as he did so. Soon, he had stumbled upon a female Coatl, Reniss, a beautiful Coatl a few days younger than himself. They agreed to team up, as Reniss had left her nest not long ago, and they ventured off together. After months of flying and battling, the Coatl pair had finally found a place to call home, The Southern Ice Fields. Despite the cold temperature, the two soon realized how perfect the area was. They had found an ice cave deep in a ravine and had set up camp there. Weeks had passed and the two were honorable enough to gain a visit from the region's deity, The Icewarden. The Icewarden praised the two for sheltering in such harsh conditions and granted their cavern with eternal heat. The God continued to tell Cinet they had been searching for a dragon who was strong-willed enough to begin the first clan located in the barren terrain, and gave the pair their seal of approval for starting a coalition. Cinet and Reniss did just that, taking turns to fly out all over the lands in search for dragons who were in need of a new home.
