____The dragon who tirelessly works to keep shadows banished from (most of) the Castle's many nooks and crannies, Asenath's presence lights up a room. Literally. She glows like she's swallowed a thousand fireflies. A candle personified, if that's a thing. A pity her personality isn't as radiant; she's a terrible gossip. But that trait of hers might just come in handy later on.

She's a passionate believer in love at first sight, soulmates, happy endings and all of that stuff. Which means that she's also an unapologetic matchmaker. Which, in turn, means that I can't be talking to any male dragon without feeling her eyes boring into my back. This is particularly irritating considering my current task of interrogating all of the Castle's occupants.

I thought I'd finally left her behind after I moved onto the Second Floor, but have since found out that she has an extensive network of informants... *ahem* spies. Lovely.

As you know, light and dark are typically portrayed as opposites, rivals, mortal enemies, blah blah blah. Hence, this is my reasoning for why she and Calmi don't quite manage to get along.
