Tristan loves the sound of laughing.

When he was found by Lixiss and brought into the clan he was affected by a terrible disease, his skin falling off his bones, his wings twisted and weak.

When Alley saw him, the first thing she said was "Take him in"

During the night she and a small group of volunteers took the dying spiral to the Forum of the Obscured Crescent and prayed to the Shadowbinder to let the male live under her omnipresent sight.

The next day a joyous new member joined the clan, with great jokes on the side as well.

"His name is Tristan, he is gifted" said Alley, Lixiss eyed the Oracle thoughtful. "Our Mother fed him one of her shadows, he will only live on the joy of the others and the well-being of the clan" she continued.

"You keep bringing demons to me, so be it. If this is what our Mother wants, I will do as she wishes. If you saw life in his future, then life belongs in him, in one form or the other."

Lixiss finished her sentence with a smile watching Tristan swirl around and making faces for the hatchlings, watching as his eyes glowed a deep purple for a moment before settling back to the shining ruby.
