Uh-oh, looks like this emerald skydancer wandered a little too far from her home lair (#109268, Elinorcross), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

TRAVEL LOG
Valhall - Mid summer, 2018 Eigaar had been traveling for quite some time before she made it to Valhall. She had no interesting adventures to speak of - in fact, she did not speak at all. The beautiful Skydancer didn't say a word, merely showing up in a small pack of travelers and following their lead. It quickly became apparent that she was a mute, unable to speak and breezing along with life. Though she communicated just fine, either speaking through gestures and expressions or pulling out a small pad of paper and a pen so she could write. She wrote that she had left her home lair to find an answer to why she'd been born without a voice, but made it very clear she was not looking for a fix to it. She was happy the way she was, but she wanted to know why. Her parents had claimed that she'd been cursed by a dragon named Edith, but Eigaar had quickly realized that tracking down a dragon only by name was near impossible. But some part of her knew that whoever Edith was, she would have the answers. So Eigaar had vowed to find Edith, no matter what and no matter how difficult, and get an answer to why she had been cursed. She would know why. She wasn't sure why she simply had to know, but she did. The dragons at Valhall couldn't help her, unfortunately, but ensured she could rest well before moving on. They fed her, they gave her enough supplies to get out of the Icefields at the very least and then bid her goodbye. And then Eigaar was off, heading out again to find Edith and get answers as to why she was the way she was. During Water and Earth's contest for hot spring supremacy, Eigaar found herself briefly holed up in the caverns of the Earth-based Clan Weathowbrook, waiting for the fervor to die down. During her stay, she was able to observe the gradual shift of her environment as many of the clan's permanent members temporarily retired to the hibernation wings. She was amazed at how swiftly and totally their usual quarters were converted into lodgings and dining rooms for the dozens of recruits who were arriving at the lair for training. She watched from the guest quarters as those dozens upon dozens of recruits completed their training and were sent off with the blessings of the clan (and especially those of the snapper Sombra) to serve the Earthshaker. Eigaar knew her own quest would be challenging, but she took some heart from watching the spirit and persistence of the clan members and the recruits. When the competition finally ended, Eigaar also accepted the blessings of Sombra and the clan and bid farewell to her guest roommates. Then she took again to the skies, now outfitted in Earthen garb and filled anew with an Earthen determination to find Edith and answers both. (by CakeOn) Continue my adventures! ---- Art ----
