As the quest-giver, Zikel's aptly-named role is to foretell quests for the dragons in the clan. She uses her prophecies to guide the others, namely the hatchlings that leave the clan before they can find their purpose themselves. Though newcomers to the clan and younger dragons see her as mystical and unapproachable, she is kind and welcoming to all, and seeks to help them with their problems.
