Biography
It's hard to tell at first, but as you wander through the chalcedony caves of the Allclan's lair, the air seems to be getting colder. Sometimes. Depending on the turns you take, sometimes it fades, but there is always a slight chill. Eventually, though, you stumble upon a passage that is noticeably colder. You don't think it's something dangerous - surely they wouldn't keep something like that right in their lair, of all places. Regardless, you're cautious as you peek around the bends of the cave passages.
When you finally reach the end of this passage, you find a slight wind blowing at you, and - are those snowflakes? Squinting against the cold breeze, you look into what appears to be a storeroom to find a purple Mirror staring at something. You walk into the room further, but she doesn't even seem to notice you.
It's the shaking that makes you concerned. The wintery wind is clearly coming from the Mirror, so she must be from the Icefields - but then, why is she shivering? Shouldn't she be able to take a small breeze like this?
When you call out, the Mirror startles, and snow and frost blasts away from her. You shield your face from the blast, and thus can only hear the clattering and scrabbling and harsh breaths of the aftermath.
Slowly, you move out from its shield to find the Mirror staring at you.
"I-I'm so sorry! I can't- I can't believe I just- I'm so sorry!"
You assure her it's quite alright, then ask if she's okay. She looks sheepish.
"Ah, yeah, I'm. I'm fine. You just- caught me reminiscing, is all." She laughs nervously.
"I, uh, I used to be an adventurer, you know? Traveled all over the Icefields. So when I saw this stuff, it reminded me..." She motions to several bags of supplies, ropes, picks, and canteens among the various objects you can make out. She shakes her head, rather violently. "But I don't do that anymore. I just study magic now. It kinda got away from me there, though. Sorry 'bout that." She seems more at ease now, at least, as she closes her eyes and concentrates. The frost recedes under your feet, the snow evaporating into the air.
"I'm glad you showed up, anyway," she says, moving past you, then looking back. "You wanna go play with the hatchlings? They love my magic."
