______ The Children of the Forest rested under the protective canopy of the Forest for centuries, keeping hidden from society so they could protect the forest. The near endangered species is rarely found in offspring, and only comes from Nature dragons who nurture the forest under the Behemoth. Without the forest, they would be vulnerable. When these dragons weren’t endangered and traversed the world, their small stature and peaceful personality led to them being at the bottom of the food chain. Only when they learned to camouflage and adapted to their true environment could they properly survive. So, even now, while they protect the forest, the forest also protects them.
