Juliana

Juliana's hatching provided both much joy and much apprehension to his birth clan. Shortly before he and his sister came into the world, a prophecy was delivered that this nest would spark the destruction of the clan.

Juliana's parents were devastated. His hatching was met with bittersweet emotions. On one hand, Juliana and his sister were the long awaited Royal nest (though neither would become leader by blood as the heir system was dismantled) , but on the other hand, his parents feared they would be forced to choose between the safety of the clan and the children they loved. They told no one of the prophecy.

Juliana grew fast, proving himself headstrong and full of fire. He was proud to be the firstborn of the clan leader, and he thought himself invincible. He couldn't wait to do great things within the clan, as many in his bloodline did before him.

When his mother recieved word of a nature clan that wished to find a home for one of its children in exchange for a child of another clan, she saw it as the perfect opportunity. She didn't see how either of her children would destroy the clan, but she figured it more likely that her louder son would inadvertently cause destruction to the clan out of some misplaced good intentions, so she sent him away. His parents were sad to see him go, but they knew the future Nest saw for him was good, and this was much better than the alternative they feared.

At first, Juliana resented being sent away, but in the end, he found himself much at home within the nature clan. He was truly in his element, and he had so many friends. Here he was free to be himself, without his parents telling him to tone everything down a notch. Sometimes, he still thinks of his birth clan, but he no longer thinks of it as home. He has everything he needs right here.
