Biography

IRACEBETH
The Red Queen

Clan Role: True Queen of the Underground
Mate: None
Pronouns: she/her
Bio: The underground kingdom below the Borogrove, unknown to most of Clan Mimsy, has existed for generations. It's made up of an amalgam of various dragons and Beastclans whose ancestors formed a truce in the wake of a terrible catastrophe. They formed a world out of magic and desperation and called it Underland. It is said the kingdom can only be reached through special portals, now, so thoroughly has it been cut off from Sornieth proper. A proud monarchy rules there, or it did until very recently, for now two sisters are in constant battle for the throne.

A childish and selfish dragon, Iracebeth claimed the crown as her birthright, despite her father having misgivings about her being fit to rule. As the eldest child of two, she insisted, it was her who should be in charge. She enjoys having power over others, and forcing them to do whatever her whims dictate at any given moment.

Most of her subjects follow her out of fear that she'll have them killed, much like she killed her own father when he tried to plot with her sister to take the throne from her--or, at least, that's what Iracebeth is pretty sure they were doing.

She keeps her crown with the help of several monstrous creatures, a terrible sharp-beaked bird and a two-headed emporer she calls the Jabberwocky. Once it comes onto the field, her sister's armies are forced to retreat, for nothing has yet been able to kill it. Iracebeth has a fascination for very small things, and keeps a collection of insects. She also likes the color red and strawberry tarts. Deep down, she feels conflicted about the fact none of her subjects seem to like her.
