Nightsong had been waiting patiently for breakfast to come to a close. Meals were a communal event here (at least the first and last ones) and he wouldn't mind that if it didn't make them all drag out for so long. He'd already annoyed his mother on at least four separate occasions for being the first to leave. Not that she told him this, but it was obvious if you'd been raised by her. Tybalt's nonverbal signals cut through the mind like hot knives.

Today's meal-extending-offenders were Noona and Virid. Talking forever to everyone about new clothes or meal requests or.. whatever it was they were talking about. Nightsong decided that he could bear a fifth time disappointing his mom and slunk off as quietly from the area as a larger dragon could hope to. He didn't look to see the side-eye glare Tybalt was most certainly aiming right at the back of his skull. He made a beeline for his wind tunnels.

Nightsong's home base above the town so that it can catch the drifting winds and funnel them into the thin tunnels that snake out from his main room to multitude tunnels carved out below. These snaking currents wind through the various chimes, feathers, and other hanging talisman that he's constructed over the years. Using these, Nightsong reads things like the weather, fortunes, or approaching dangers.

Nightsong relishes in his role as a wind priest, and will happily talk to any traveler with intense passion about his work. His genuine love for his work usually convinces any unsuspicious dragons that the temple he built is the true heart of the settlement.
